Contest Questions:
  1. Did you know that HDMI is the first lossless, uncompressed reproduction format in AV history?
  2. How many HDMI sources do you have in your system now?
  1. No I didn't. Assumed DVI to be the first.
  2. Well what i considered a HDMI source? MY DVD (=Oppo) has DVI and my receiver has 2 HDMI in and 1 HDMI out (Then finally my PJ has 1 HDMI in)

As I'm living in Europe - I'm not entering the drawing (Or could I donate it then to someone I know in Canda? ;) )

Did you know that HDMI is the first lossless, uncompressed reproduction format in AV history? Response: I was only casually aware of HDMI's lossless and uncompressed nature but not of its precedence, given what I understand to be similar virtues shared by the prior introduction of IEEE-1394.

How many HDMI sources do you have in your system now? Response: I have a HDMI-capable universal player but no HDMI-capable HDTV yet (just a matter of time though).

1. No

2. I have one, and planning on getting another as soon as I upgrade my Satellite receiver so I can receive HDTV programming.

This switcher will be perfect because I don't have a AVR to do the switching.

1. I was under the impression that the DVI and the HDMI were similar in the video aspect, so this is news to me, Thanks!

2. None at the time but I am looking to do a whole new system within the next year. And HD is on the top of my list.
