favorite purchase had to be the pair of bic speakers i found at the thrift store

What was your favorite A/V purchase last year?

The PS3... Mmmm.... HD movies!!!
Also, the 32" LCD for my son's playroom would be my favorite. Got him out of the family room when he wanted to watch a show - definitely a good thing.

What are you planning to purchase this year and when?

There are things I am hopeful for. I'm almost positive I'm getting a new center channel. That will be very nice... perhaps in June. I'm also hoping, but not positive, that I'll be getting a 1080p front projector to replace my several year old Panasonic. Of course then I need to add HDMI to my system.
