Hmm... just saw the bucket list yesterday. I dunno if it was a tear or sweat but the end was definitely sad...The Remains of the Day made me cry. So did Harry and Tonto.

This. It can be a terrible movie, if the dog dies, chances are I will be crying, I just can't help it. I tend to avoid movies with dogs in them for this reason alone.Anything with a dog dying.
The entire final third of the movie is pretty much a continual kick in the gut, but the spoiler-texted scene you mention really is...just plain desolate. It's damn hard to watch.Requiem for a Dream
