wow, putting the US population at risk because they have no idea :eek:o_O

I had Corona throughout x-mas new-year 2023-2024 and as I then already had triple vaccine Pfizer + Moderna, I was quite ok. With no vaccine, I assume the situation would be very different!

You likely would have been more ill, and depending on your health condition, perhaps gravely ill.

My son was 37 at the time and in great physical condition when he contracted early covid. He didn't have respiratory symptoms, but, rather, continuous vomiting and diarrhea for about a full week. He said it was the sickest he's ever been and almost had to go in the hospital for fluids.

I was the same age when I got it in 2019. Kicked my @ss worse than anything ever has. I was VERY worried about my wife and kids getting it, but they avoided it until last year. My wife got it, but thankfully she's vaccinated and it was basically a flue to her. I'm glad that's "all" that happened. I almost went to the hospital when my fever refused to break. Thankfully it did, but that wasn't fun. At all. Worst headache I've ever had.

Basically shows the nice effect of the vaccine, yes? :)

Yes, but she also got it YEARS after I did, so we didn't really get the same virus.

I'm glad that's all it was for her, but she still got sick. Wasn't as bad as mine, but it was still rough.

I get to go get a test today since she's sick again. Could be COVID. Could be the flu. Could be a cold. Could be allergies. Yay me.

It was COVID. She's feeling better today. They told her to take cold meds. No prescriptions.

I suggest you have a read of this:
Over the last 40 years, I have read a lot about nutrition and supplements. One supplement which I recently found interesting is monolaurin. It is contained in human breast milk for protecting the new born baby from viral infections. It's found in coconut milk and also available as a supplement. IMO, there's no risk in trying it. There is some info on the web on it and Amazon sells it.
That is my 2 cents.

I wish a prompt recovery to your wife. Have a good day! :)

The only risk comes when you forego well know others that will help more, like high percentage of children being immunized.

How immunized children have to do with elderly people who become sick? Being immunized while young does not guarantee health when you get old. You still need to have adequate consumption of vitamins, minerals and natural antioxidants to slow down the aging process. IMO with the use of pesticides and insecticides with time, our soils today have become poorer in the nutriments we used to have. To continue to be resistant to disease, we now need supplementation in vitamins and minerals, natural food and avoidance of fast food and refined sugars.

And all the nutrients in the past helped slow down the aging process?
Where are the credible studies to show that is all one needs?
Will that stand off Covid and possible death from it? Shingles? All the other dreadful disease?
Not a cure-all by itself.

I just stated my opinion and the opinion of physicians and scientists who specialize in nutrition. You already know that there are vaccines for Covid and Shingles and most dreadful diseases. A lot of diseases are caused by a lack of or insufficient intake of some nutrients. For examples: Scurvy is caused by a deficiency of Vitamin C. Deficiency of Vitamin D can cause multiple sclerosis. Deficiency of niacin (Vitamin B3) will cause pellagra. Deficiency of Vitamin A can cause blindness, Iron deficiency with anemia. Of course, this is a very short listing.

OK, supplementation in vitamins and minerals for a healthy life style.
But vaccines have orders of magnitude more resistant to to their targeted disease.
And vaccines not only help protect you but also the vulnerable people that you come in contact with.

Thanks. Maybe I got the wrong vibs that vaccines can be replaced just by those 5 nutrients. My bad.
