I had Corona throughout x-mas new-year 2023-2024 and as I then already had triple vaccine Pfizer + Moderna, I was quite ok. With no vaccine, I assume the situation would be very different!

You likely would have been more ill, and depending on your health condition, perhaps gravely ill.

Yes absolutely .... I know young people who were in very great health, when they caught it, they were seriously bad ..... and just ask Gene he was seriously feeling very bad

My son was 37 at the time and in great physical condition when he contracted early covid. He didn't have respiratory symptoms, but, rather, continuous vomiting and diarrhea for about a full week. He said it was the sickest he's ever been and almost had to go in the hospital for fluids.
