Seriously, I have no life.
I got my two shots today. Applied online and had an opening about an hour later.
Barely felt the covid unless that was the flu shot. He did say it was the correct covid shot. The flu shot was much more noticeable this year versus last year what I had to ask what when. But hours afterwards still just fine, nothing sore yet.

Yep, this was the first year that the Flu shot really gave me a sore arm. Gone in 2 days and I'm chalking it up to the senior dose.

In addition to the RSV vaccine, this is now on my jab list:

>>>For the first time, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has lowered the recommended age for those who should get a pneumococcal vaccine — down to 50, from 65. . . .
Wednesday's recommendation comes as respiratory infections caused by the bacteria mycoplasma pneumoniae are rising across the U.S., especially in children, according to the CDC. That marks a change from previous years, when most cases involved older children and adolescents.

This year, the number of people who have been diagnosed with the pneumonia-causing bacteria or with bronchitis has increased over the past six months and peaked in August, the agency says.<<<

As far as I can tell, it's not entirely clear how many deaths attributed to the flu are actually due to contracting pneumonia as a result of the flu. Regardless, the pneumonia vaccine seems like a no-brainer to me.
