I just tried to post an answer using duckduckgo a few times and it kept saying it was a problem and something about the browser might have more info (which I didn't see). I used firefox successfully. Last few days I've had trouble even navigating the forum with that :"oops we're having a problem" message (using my usual browser, duckduckgo). Is the forum now browser sensitive....

TEST.

Same. I use Chrome beta, so basically updated every time I launch it. Does not work at all now. I did an inspect and saw only one error when trying to post, but same message no matter what, even in incognito. Looks to be working in Edge though.

Likely related to bot related security measures. Which if you log out and back in, you will encounter the "checking to see if you are a human" challenge.

Signed back in with Duckduckgo no problem now and letting me answer you....

Testing this reply using Firefox. No problem. It works without asking if I'm a human.

It seems like the site now times you out, even if you ask to be kept logged in?

I’ve had to log out and in so many times in the last few days that I’m getting pretty frustrated.

in fact I just had to do it again! It’s been less than an hour since I replied to sqish’s thread on the same topic!

Yes, I couldn't respond just look on Edge and Chrome. See if Firefox works with this.
But, be did have new spammers similar to several month ago.

edit, yes Firefox is working will see if the other two works.

edit: unfortunately neither Chrome nor Edge lets me respond, just Firefox for now.

Update if this works with Edge, or not.
edit: I guess I have to log off, wait and log back in; works for now.

I just opened DuckDuckGo incognito mode and it seems to work- I clicked on the reply button in Chrome and it showed that the site has a problem.

EDIT! It didn't work.

I'm a member of Woodworking Talk and they use Fora- I don't remember the last time they had a problem with spammers.

I am just discovering that the problem may have a solution as it just opened when I logged in.
Great job whoever fixed it.

It has been a little intermittent, but things are improving so there is progress. It really is a disgrace that there are countries out there that want to cause this amount of disruption, and for what? The prime actor is a malicious state.

Earlier today was getting a lot of the oops we're having problems response....then a little while ago it just started working.....
