Callaway is THE bose of the club industry. BS technology that hasnt changed for years and years. Things like S2H2, 360 degree vertical undercut cavity, RCH, the list goes on and on and they all do virtually nothing but they are still regarded as the end all club. Callaway has some good products, they do... But ask an amateur or somebody who knows little about the game. They just assume that callaway is the best, having not heard of a vast percentage of other offerings available, much like bose in the audio world. Lets not confuse this with brand value though. They are marketing giants with little substance to offer the end user. Moen was just another example... a mostly plastic parts valve very inexpensive to make, little value to customer, huge price.I have 10 Callaway clubs and 6 MOEN faucets but I dont undrerstand your point...
There are certain companies who have extreme amounts of perceived value... i was simply giving examples...
