Bose Model 8’s?

Got 17 Bose model 8’s at a steal from a renovation, but no other infrastructure. Is anyone familiar with the system? I would like to install them in a residential space, But I want to make sure I haven’t missed anything. I heard I need a system controller, but the details are unclear- assuming I need a 70V amp to drive the speakers- does it need to be a Bose or generic? I didn’t see anything that explained this. The system controller has two channels- do I need 8 of these to drive the speakers, or does the controller provide output to a receiver with an amp? I’m interested in any information or resources that may help finish designing the system. I would plan on using 15 of these 8w speakers in the finished project. Thanks in advance!

The info in that thread from forum members who know of that system should be helpful regardless of links to items/gear that doesn't exist anymore....it pretty much says forget about those speakers.

Without the associated equipment, they are useless. Typical Bose.
Ebay would be your best hope.

What you have bought is almost certainly totally useless, unless you can find the proprietary Bose controller that goes with it. Bose stuff is basically junk and everyone needs to stay away from it.
