Don't push it so close to the wall- the amplifier needs space in order to prevent overheating.

Sub ideally should have a bit of space from the wall too.

The Bluejeans connectors are even longer than that, as they have a cover that prevents flexing at the attachment point to the connector body so they don't get damaged. That presumably will help protect the pin as well.

Yeah wonder if they got right angle adapters ? Since this and the monoprice and cable I was looking at don’t have right angle connections ?
odds are it got bent with the jamo sub. Prior to connecting it to this one. Too close to the wall??

Should be OK that far. A little more room helps, but 3-4 inches should be good. I have used the right angle connectors and they work fine as well.

is it fine with two plugs ? Is that for old mono TVs?
Yeah I put some electric tape on the loose cable , is that fine ?
jamo sub already broke one cable because it was crammed in a corner now I moved to front of the room with more space but it has to work a lot harder then the DIY sub being farther away and smaller .

Right angle adapters are available- not terribly expensive, either.

Did you glue the power cord's plug into the inlet?

The one with two is so you can connect to both R&L inputs, but a single one is fine. Was just an example.

I used a pair of Amazon Basics RCA cables for subs for a long time. I only needed 10 feet and I was able to split the white & red for stereo subs.

For a long cable, this is fine.

yeah either adapters or I could get an angled sub cable, … but most the better ones I’ve seen stop at 15 feet which might reach .but may be tight ..,20 is better.
I don’t know how to remove the glue the previous amp broke because the power cord was loose like this one. Had I left it the way it was it might be broken now.
I had it taped before ℹ should had left it that way .

They also sell various right angle models . Not sure which brand is best ??
The current cable is attached to the sub with tape . Not sure if it can be rebent back or if that would break it .

I don’t know if the top switch should be set to lfe or crossover.?

I would not try and straighten the pin. It may break off.

I think you have things correct. With the switch set to "Crossover" the sub should use the crossover FREQ control. The FREQ control is used when you have a full range signal coming in. Since you have an AVR with subwoofer management, the AVR handles the crossover point for you, so having the FREQ control turned up all the way is correct. If the FREQ control was turned down, you could potentially filter out bass below the AVR's setting.

but for the diy I’m deciding between regular style like the Monoprice and a 90° Right Angle RCA Cable ??
Which is Less likely to bend like this old one did? Plus I’m going to measure to see if I need more than 20 feet . or if 15 is enough?
power cord reaches out so far anyways I cannot move the sub closer to the wall.
