There are a number of right wingers who think it was the FBI who tried to kill him. If that was the case, he would be dead. They wouldn't have used an untrained teen as their primary method of delivery, even if they wanted it to not look like or point back to them.

Saw another article that mentioned he used a drone hours earlier to scout the area. Basically he located a building that nobody was on top of that had a line of site.

I watched the news briefing and when the Secret Service guy stepped up to the mic, I was expecting him to say "Well, we didn't f&ck it up, this time".

They also described the coverage past POTUS gets vs sitting and it's mostly 'agents in the area' but this was an unscheduled outing which, if he had a working brain stem, he would know he should avoid.

O'Reilly seemed to hint at this by saying "undesired consequences." Because he followed with Trump should just talk about the issues with sympathy. I'm not too hopeful for Republicans though. As the News Nation host acknowledged "Haitians eating pets" wasnt a good idea, he said that what it did good was get the message of immigration out there. Both sides of his mouth speaking.

Something I found interesting is that both alleged perps are conservative /republicans. Can't speak to the veracity, but this latest guy apparently wanted Haley+Ramaswamy to run as a ticket all the way to the finish line, regardless the outcome.
If true, it's not Leftys or the bogeyman Antifa behind it. And as commented above, I haven't seen a single democrat use such "loaded" language as "Locked and Loaded" or posting pictures with crosshairs superimposed over the opponent a la Sarah Palin. Of course, let's not forget a previous election cycle where some wing nut encouraged violence at his rallies and where people were injured because of it.
