That seems more like a problem with compensating for the delay from DSP, which is trivial with AVRs and room-correction, but might be difficult with music-only systems. Arendal might have somewhat lower delay in that regard than SVS, without knowing for sure.

@shadyJ how would the 1723 1S compare to the SVS SB3000? I am having a major dilemma o_O
I preferred the 1S to the SB3000 and much preferred it to the SB4000.

I could never get the SB4000 to sound natural in my room ( always sounded bottom heavy with a lack of midbass).
