Well alrighty then. I've never heard a Totem before. The seller mentions that whathifi gushed over them and it had the opposite effect I think he was going for. Mentioning those guys raises red flags with me, lol.

I've heard nothing but good about the OG Thiel's. But as JZ pointed out, they are gonna be hot on the top end. A lot of manufacturers used Vifa aluminum tweeters in the 90's. I've had 3 pairs of speakers featuring them and all have left the same negative impression.
