Vikings @ Packers is the superbowl of the regular season. The cheese heads are some of the best fans in the NFL so it should be a loud and hostile environment for Favre and the Vikings.

I just want a competitive game, I don't want to see any blowouts here. Hoping for a close, high scoring, offensive style game.

If only it were that easy.
The game is in the Rollerdome. It's gonna be loud there.

Thanks for the correction. The Packers have a history of not playing well there. Should be an excellent and exciting game :D. As a football fan I can't wait to watch this one. :)

I wouldn't go that far. The Cowboys vs Giants was the biggest attendance in history. Still I'll be pumped up for this. I hope the Packers lose big, but a close game would be nice for entertainment value.

The Game you mentioned was only the biggest attendance in history because the spectacle of a stadium holds that many people , football fans or not.
From what I read the stadium was so overcrowded the regular fans and season ticket holders filed grievances with the Cowboys organization, lack of bathroom facilities and having their views blocked by the many standing room only fans, typical greed on Jerky Jones end. The outcome of the Boy's/Giants game was perfect though, ;), and thats from an Eagles Fan.

The definition of a stellar game comparable to a Superbowl , as mentioned, would be a stadium full to the rim with rabid football loving fans which will definitely be the scene of this Monday Night.

Attendance does not equate to anything other than the fact the new Cowboys stadium can hold the most people in the NFL at around 100,000 I believe. The Cowboys vs Giants game was just like any other year other than the fact the Cowboys were opening a new stadium. Not really a big deal to me atleast. The Packers Vs Vikings I find much more intriguing because the hype deals with the actual football game, fans and players, I could care less about a new stadium especially if I am watching it on t.v.

It can only seat around 70,000 IIRC. There's a large standing-room only party area where you can watch the game on TVs.

Game is not over yet, but New Orleans definitely looks for real. Defense played well, and while the offense got shut down most of the game they came through when it mattered.

Very happy with how the G-men played. Not thrilled with some of the big blitzes late that gave up points, but Eli played really well and the D dominated for most of the game.

You suck. :p:D:rolleyes:

And I hope Romo gets nothin' tonite from Jessica Simpleton.
At least our QB is on the right sideline.;)

Romo and Simpson broke up.

The Cowboys stadium is amazing and far more intriguing than an overrated QB that doesn't know when to hang it up. ;)

Without Desmond Howard Favre wouldn't even have a ring.:p

How bout dem Saints :)
A hell of a lot better than the Cowboys. You guys look fantastic. Best team in the NFC.

On the other side I'd say Denver looks very impressive. San Diego has competition for sure. I love the NFL because you never know who might perk up. The Giants look great Manning #2 is playing like Manning #1.

It deals with only Brett Favre. Thats the Hype.

I would agree if not for a guy with the name "Adrian Peterson", he is quickly becoming one of the most popular RB's in the league. How about Rashard Mendanhall last night, what a strong RB, that guy is a beast.
Aaron Rodgers , Greg Jennings and D. D. are no slouches either, great game tonite.

Of course all the hype centers around Brett Favre, but that is what is so great about it. With all the controversy surrounding his retirement and the reason why he is coming back to the NFL, his iconic status as a Green Bay Packer and the notion of him playing for a division rival and fighting for 1st place in the division, it can't get any better than this, it is the best scenerio possible.

This game is also a statement game for Aaron Rodgers (Brett Favres prodigy), also showcasing the best running back in the NFL in Adrian Peterson and another touted young player in Percy Harvin. These teams are both very good. I can't wait.
