As one radio show host said today discussing quarterbacks called it the "it factor", that undefineable quality of great modern day quarterbacks that does not show up in statistics (Brett Favre, Jim Kelly, Peyton Manning, Montana, Elway, Marino, Aikman). Its one quality the Vikings did not possess at quarteback this year until Favre.
I don't see that "it factor" in Romo nor in other young players such as Brady Quinn. In today's game I see that "it factor" in Eli Manning, Tom Brady and Drew Brees. I'm on the fence about Rivers and Rodgers.
I found that segment really interesting. The radio show host hit the nail on the head.
