Already available for preorder from some countries, but haven't seen preorder for the US yet:
Europe/Japan etc: All albums on SACD + DVD (PAL/NTSC where applicable and all are said to be region free). I will be importing for certain!
US is going to get DVD (DTS version) + CD - why no SACD or DVD-A? I really don't know. Maybe they feel that regular dvd's will sell better here??
All albums completely remixed from the original multitracks in 5.1 surround, and 2 ch stereo.
These are 2 disc sets. I for one will be importing the SACD + DVD. The SACD's will be hybrid, and the dvd's will contain interviews and extras related to that specific album, as well as some live material, assuming never released stuff. Also, the albums will be released in boxed sets of aprox 5 albums, and those boxed sets will contain another bonus disc that will have all album 'extras' that didn't make the original record due to space.
These look like they are going to be really nice, and the sound (I have been lucky enough to get ahold of a 5.1 sampler given to the press) is excellent.
March 7:
A Trick of the Tail
Wind & Wuthering
And then there were three...
Duke
Abacab
(Available seperate or in boxed set with bonus disc)
July 7th
Genesis - self titled album
Invisible Touch
We can't dance
Calling all stations
(Also available as boxed set)
Dec 7th
Trespass
Nursery Cryme
Foxtrot
Selling England by the Pound
The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway (Peter Gabriel had his hand in this one big time)
(Boxed set, well of course)
I create another post that shows what's on each disc and the extra's.
I think these are to be around $20 each US and around $90 for the 5+bonus disc boxed set. Pretty reasonable I think.
