If it really decodes everything and has high rez analog output I'd seriously check it out. I've got a lot of SACD & DVD-A discs and it would be great to have one player for every round silver disc I own.

If it doesn't have the manual you can download it easily online. But you're better off googling for a tutorial- the manual is nearly useless. I beat my head on the wall for awhile trying to figure it out before I found a tutorial someone had posted to the net. That made it pretty easy...

Just what I was thinking! BTW, not a bad idea keeping a GG bottle and filling it with something cheaper. Some shifty clubs do this, too, and most people can't tell. Sort of like having one or two bottles of really nice wine, then decanting cheap stuff and serving from carafes.

On the subject of metal, The Codex is friggin' amazing! It's ex-Yngwie singer Mark Boals and the Starbreaker guitarist. Absolutely top notch meodic/prog metal; probably the best metal album I've heard since TNT's My Religion. If you're at all into metal, this one's a can't miss!

A permanent mount will definately make your life easier. A tripod mount means the projector can get bumped out of alignment with the screen very easily, or even tipped over.
