Jack it is difficult for us to mention a problem that didn't exist in our test unit. When I meet with Denon at Cedia next week I will bring this up with them, although their tech support I spoke with in the past didn't seem to think there was a problem.

The Jon Risch Cross Coax is about on par with a decent quality 12AWG Zip cord cable one can buy at a supply store such as Lowes or Home Depot. The problem is, it is rather involving to produce and delicate to handle. It is certainly worth a try as far as DIY cables go. We will soon be posting...

The only motivation I see if if you prefer a flat cable or prefer the cosmetics. I personally use the Starflex and have both at my disposal.
