I always factor in Rs, Ls and Cp of speaker cables when doing analysis. There is something amiss with your distortion plots. I actually measured speaker cables impacts on real amplifiers with real speakers and the results were pretty nill. See 12:03

Mono only testing a loudspeaker doesn't give any indication of spatiality which I think is too often overlooked. Professor Edgar talks about this on our YT channel and we plan to cover this more in the future.

Just a quick update. Yamaha confirmed my measurements but there doesn't seem to be a recourse in fixing anything. I will publish the test report as it stands and do my listening tests next to see if any of this is audible. Stay tuned....
