    Need Help

If your TV does not have AV inputs you will have to purchase a RF converter. This will convert the AV output from your DVD player to RF (like your cable) then an A/B switcher will handle the two RF inputs. Using an RF converter will cause degradation of the signal from the DVD player. A new...

    Next level after 717

I agree with mtrycrafts about replacing gear. I jumped of the replace gear every year groove. Some of my stuff is almost as old as me. Just joking. Nowadays I only replace something when I find something that has demonstrably better performance. Sometimes I wonder if new and different looking is...

    AMP+IntegratedAMP

I speak from personal knowledge of this. I do not know why the manufacturer decided to do this but it was done. I'm sure you can find some reference somewhere on the web for this. No offense, but you seem to know web references for lots of things so I'm sure you could find this one also.

    AMP+IntegratedAMP

Some power amps have a pass through. If yours has one you can connect the power section of your integrated by using the pass through on the external power amp to loop back to your integrated.

    Jazz Music-Where To Start?

Probably the best way to get exposed to jazz is to visit a fellow audiophile and have him/her play some jazz for you. We jazz listeners know that there is a broad spectrum of styles and music involved. Be advised that the saxaphone is one of the most popular instruments with jazz musicians...

    connect avr with a pc

You need to furnish more details about your rig. You could connect your PC to your receiver by using a tape out signal from the receiver to the line in input on your sound card. I think the connection your talking about is a infrared repeater not an audio output.

    Bose 901 and RX-v2400

If the Yammie receiver has jumpers between main out and power in the eq could be connected there. It might not be best for the S/N ratio but it's worth a try. I could say get rid of the 901's but if you like them that's what matters.

While responding to a question on a different thread I stated my conclusion after 30+ years as an audiophile. My own test I have called the MAT. The mornning after test.
