That is really unfortunate Afterlife.
I am glad you are OK. I do hope you have a place to stay with relatives or friends.
Keep us posted.
I have quite a bit of older equipment in storage that is you can use I will give you. Some needs restoration. All two channel. Most of it needs some restoration to make it as new.
I'm sure that's the last thing on your mind right now, but there will come a time I bet!
I went through two floods in the Red River Valley. In the 1979 flood which was flash, I was tearing my studio down, by flash light in the middle of the night as the water rose fast. Just cut and pulled the cables.
Got is all out except the studio monitors, the JWs I was using for midrange are all metal, and they worked fine after a hose off. Remarkably the two KEF B 139 bass units worked after being totally submerged for around a week!
The funny part about that one, is that the authorities would not believe we were in dire straights and kept dismissing us as pranksters. It was like a Monty Python sketch, with the emergency management center just insisting we had a bit of seepage! Finally we got a builder to rescue us with front end loader. All six of us got into the bucket with the dog swimming behind.
In the great flood of 1999, I got everything out of the basement, and my dike and pumps held.
Floods are just awful so I can imagine what you are going through.
