and now... the bugs have made it onto my bed. nobody else in my house seems to understand why i get so pissed. my bed is a futon. i spend probably 20 hours a day on it. whenever a bug lands on it i see it unless im asleep. thats the disturbing part. the invasion is just beginning so ive only had a few on my bed today but when it gets bad i find my self killing one maybe every 15 mins and i find one landing ON ME about every hour. everyone else in my house doesnt spend much time in their bedrooms. they have no idea how many get in and get on their bed every day. regardless of whether im in here or not, i know, and i wish i didnt. the thought of how many land on my bed OR EVEN ME while im asleep horrifies me. yes, i have a phobia of these bugs. but im sure everyone here doesnt want bugs crawling on them while they sleep. i find it amazing that my family still puts up with these bugs. for 13 years of my almost 17 years of my life have i have had to deal with these bugs. the curtains at my old house were stained with their feces and blood. and so is the area near my back door at this house. the floor is white tile and the walls are white also. and they are covered with tiny yellow spots. and soon they will also be covered in eggs. its not like the back door of my house is out of the way, you have go past it to get into the basement where our main kitchen is and our living room is. i dont get how the rest of them ignore it. i know out of all the bedrooms mine gets hit the worst because of its location. they all live on the south wall of our house and what do you know, that where my room is. they like to hide in the bushes and the garden near the air-conditioner. RIGHT BELOW MY WINDOW. they get into my room through the gap in the floor under my radiator and through the gap small gap in the air vent in my ceiling. and once they're in all hell breaks loose. my light on the ceiling gets surrounded by eggs and once they hatch, IT RAINS BUGS. also im allergic to them. im not sure how it works but once they come around i start getting rashes and getting really itchy. im sure most of you have never dealt with boxelder bugs before. want to know why? you dont live near a boxelder tree. hopefully you live in an area that bans them. maybe if you have a maple tree you have seen a few of them. you know how one can get rid of them? cut down the boxelder tree. thats it. give it a year for them to fully leave but yeah... thats it. i am quite curious as to why we still have the tree in our yard after 5 years of this insanity. my friends jaws hit the floor whenever i show them the south wall of my house when all the bugs are relaxing in the sun. i just dont see why we live with this when there is such an easy solution. sure removing a tree isnt exactly cheap but... my god. what i would do to never have to see one of these bugs again....
tl;dr I WANT TO KILL EVERY BOXELDER BUG EVER.
