Room for more :)

Went to the range with a buddy last week and got to shoot his chick's H/K PS2000SK. Except for the 2 finger grip, I was actually pretty impressed with it. Might have to check out a full size of that one. She said it came with a clip with an extension that she didn't like so she bought a flat clip instead; I might have liked it better with the extension.

Did a cleaning/lube on the 9 this weekend.

nice. ^

i think the single stack 1911 would be great to grip

Full capacity double stack isn't legal here in California, so it would still be restricted to 10+1 anyway; only giving up two rounds.

oh right. that's a bum rule IMO.

because my brother is in CA, i'm unable to buy full mags there.

i'd like some pmags and some 14 shot paraord mags :D (found someone online who'd ship to CA with the mag disassembled though)

Yeah, it is sort of a useless law IMO. Drop test and magazine disconnect at least have some understandable benefit, but limiting rounds really doesn't. I can reload full magazines very quickly with a speed loader...

Friday I also bought:

1000 rounds of 9mm 115gr FMJ  200 of those are already downrange.

Apocalypse? Ready :)

They aren't too hard to find, but I don't see any with the open front, those are usually used in competition so you have a really fast draw.

do you have online links? :) (covered or unvocered) can't find polymer holsters for my Taurus Tracker

TIA

The problem with polymer holsters is that they are generally weapon specific. If you don't mind a soft style drop leg holster, you can find those readily available since they are more universal.

If the taurus will fit a S&W holster of similar size, give this a look.

Model 6005 SLS Tactical Holster w/ Quick Release Leg Harness | Safariland™
thanks, will look at the safariland options,
i use blackhawk (weapon specific) for my other pistols and use the quick disconnect to change what i want mounted on the belt or drop leg holster.

i also have a soft holster which fits the revolver except for the uncomfortable length (6.5" barrel) which touches pretty low.

I've seen that style on Amazon too. A number of different companies make them, but not specifically with the front cutout.

Also looked on Safariland and found this (1911, but they might have one for yours too): Competition Holster System :: HOLSTERS.com
thanks will do some research!

anyway
"Cup Challenge" Competition Holster :: HOLSTERS.com

that's the S&W similar to my Taurus ... question now is if it's the same fit.
I saw that one too, but wasn't sure if it was going to work either. Figured if you poked around on there you might find it or a manufacturer who makes one :) I've actually never seen that one that the Rock has on, but then I don't go to competitions either, and probably wouldn't have noticed the holster in the movie as much as the guns :) First thing I saw in the pic was the "Master Key" :D

I use a couple Blackhawk Serpa holsters myself, they are awesome. Never had a drop leg holster though, but they sure do look cool... not very ideal for concealed carry though.

That movie was on at a friends house last night, so I asked my buddy who is a gunsmith and works at a huge gun store in the area about that holster, and he wasn't sure who made it, but said you can probably have one custom made if you are willing to spend the money.

thanks for asking ... but the revolver is too cheap to spend that much money on :D

besides, it's not really the EDC type :D

I know, I rarely every carry my 6" Taurus .357 either, but it sure is fun.
