Once again: what are you listening to now?

Radiohead...The King of Limbs. It's spacy, drone-y, lacking in obvious cognitive logic, sung mainly in falsetto and has a couple spooky jellyfish and some Avatar-like trees on the CD jacket. Nevertheless, like other Radiohead projects, I really like it although, on a rational level, I'm not sure just why. Even though they are often categorized as alt-rock, or something like that, they don't fit very well into a category that includes the word "rock".

Rusko - Everyday (Netsky rmx)
Netsky - Nobodys perfect (Jessie J vocal mix)
London Elektricity - Yikes! EP

Yeah, it's odd... I'm loving Codex though. Didn't even dawn on me that it might have been a suicidal song, I pictured growing up at the cottage jumping off the bridge into the river... :D

Beastie Boys - Hot Sauce Committee Part Two - CD (new album released last week). Been listening to it for the last few days. Enjoying it so far.

Finally listened to the DTS version of Porcupine Tree's "In Absentia". Fricking awesome. I don't know why it took me so long...it's been sitting in my A/V closet since Christmas. I was surprised my wife dropped the $45 on it, she's far too practical to pull that off very often.

$45?! Wow, that's a LOT, but I don't think they are available at Burning Shed anymore, though they are not OOP as far as I know.. That one and Deadwing were both $9.99 on sale at dts.com back when Deadwing came out. The good news is, ALL of their 5.1 releases are quite excellent as well.

Yea, she bought it from Amazon. Looks like they don't even sell it new direct anymore. Well, I could buy it from acehigh music for $111.77 + $2.98 shipping. :D

All of the more recent 5.1 releases (including albums older than In Absentia) are available at Burning Shed for decent prices. FOABP and The Incident are both awesome on DVD-A.

There are probably more threads about this band than any other on this forum. Took you long enough to get the hint :)
