Took this shot yesterday for The Photo Fun Group { http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=285347077390 } on Face Book. Its a fun group that's been around for 36 weeks. Check it out its fun. There is a weekly theme, sometimes along with a daily one. This week "The 7-Day Project, Week 36 - Slogans and Sayings!" { http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=119443424780474 } I came up with this shot for 'A penny saved is a penny earned".

I took a panorama of the NYC night sky line last night. The original is just under 26,000 pixels wide, so I'm going to have to figure out how to post it haha.

Found that stuck to the floor under the kitchen sink:

He got into some sticky stuff under there and I thought he was dead until I reached in and he hissed. He couldn't move though...so I peeled him up and as you can see, he is still sticking to the glove. I put him outside and have no idea how he fared, but as he tried to leave, everything was sticking to him and there are a LOT of birds in our yard. Looks like a young one - gopher snake.

It's dark so there isn't much to see, but this was my first attempt at a panorama, so I'm pretty happy with it!

The fall colors are really taking over out here in NY, so I went out and snapped a few! It's probably not too far off from snowing, so I don't see this lasting too long.

Darn it, this morning I stumbled on photo of amazing place - Patagonia
Now I can't get enough of it and will begin plan on how to convince my better half visiting it

Of course I was after the girl, it was just convenient that she has the same camera as I do. That's one of my lenses she has on her camera in that picture.

Tried out the 16-85 lens with the speedlight tonight...

Very Thrilled with the quality - these are truly the best quality shots Ive ever taken - no regrets on the d7000 and minor upgrades....
Full Auto settings, I'll work on the manual settings as I learn more...

Don't mind the dust....
