Here's a shot taken at night from the top floor {5th} of the Hilton Head Island Hilton Beach Resort from about a week ago. Place my Nikon D300s on the ledge {still strapped to my neck } for a 4 sec. exposure @ 18mm w/ my Sigma 10-20.

Center channel needs to be raised up or pulled forward, it is reflecting directly off the cabinet right now.
Ouch, not even in Cool Photos thread one can hide from Eye of [STRIKE]Sauron[/STRIKE] The Audioholic

Yeah I had it further forward before, but I think the little woman moved it back when cleaning.... Can't say I have any complaints either way - still sounds great.... I have a pretty well trained ear and can't discern any ill effects.

:D I'd guess it is because the tweeter is mounted high (and it is a pretty tall cabinet), and that is the main range that one would notice it on.

Was playing around with water balloons today for The Photo Fun Group on Face Book, this weeks theme is 'water'. Was trying to capture the water in the shape of the balloon, came pretty close. It was fun, might do some more tomorrow.

Taken with Nikon D300s @ 50mm 1.4D

1st balloon - red 1000th/sec - f5

Another balloon - white 6400th/sec - f3.2

For some reason, when I upload the full file onto flickr, it resizes it to 1024 by something. I have a pro account, so shouldnt it be full size? When I try to download the original image, it downloads the scaled down picture. If this is the way it is, thats BS and not what I paid for.

What do you pay?

I use it for a wide range of things, including picture hosting, but I have a csoft.net account. If your at all tech-savvy, basically for 5 bucks a month you get a place to upload whatever you want via sFTP. They are small, but well respected in the tech community, I've had an account with them for like 7 years now. There are tons of other options too, but, the photo only accounts seem to be very software limiting...might as well just have a full shell account. *shrug*

Love the pic btw. :)

That site is pretty cool. At some point that might be a possibility, but right now I just wanted a place to upload my full rez pictures for storage as well as for friends and family to view. It's only $25 a year for pro, so it's pretty cheap.

All is better now. I just reuploaded the pics. I guess they were stuck on the smaller size from when it wasn't a pro account.

So any idea what this is?

And to a mod, can you delete the broken flickr link in my previous post? Thanks!

That's a Bose reel to reel system.
