Woooohhooooooo UK won again!!!!! We are now 10-0 on the season and only 3-wins away from 2,000 all-time wins!!!!! Things are looking good! ;):);) Kudos to Indiana for putting up a valiant fight. Very good job of coaching imho.

Well folks, UK went on to beat Austin Peay yesterday to remain undefeated. They are now 11-0 which is one of their best starts ever. Anyways, they are now within (1) win away from reaching their 2,000 program win. Hopefully, that will happen when UK plays Drexel tomorrow night. The game starts at 6:00 PM central time and is televised on ESPN. Looking forward to seeing history in the making! ;):p;)

Still Rolling Along!

Folks, I am hoping that this time tomorrow night that UK will once again remain undefeated. However, conference play begins and continues throughout until March Madness. Right now, my Cats are 15-0. Sure hope this trend continues. However, both Texas and Kansas scare me. Syracuse and Nova are no push overs either. So, why not watch the "Wall" of KY. John really is amazing to watch. I can NOT wait until March Madness is upon us!

Wow!

What a game last night. UK beats University of Florida at Florida to remain on defeated! Way to go guys! My Cats are now 17-0. The only other remaining undefeated team is Texas. Not surprisingly, Texas is also ranked #1. Can't wait for March Madness! Can you?

Well Texas probably won't go undefeated given the Big 12 is loaded. But UK certainly can in the SEC. I'd say they have a good shot to win it all. Still Texas and Kansas are both very deep teams so it's not gonna be easy.

Not so sure UK will go undefeated in the SEC. TN looked really sharp against Kansas the other night. That being said, UK has their hands full. Texas, Kansas, and Syracuse all scare me. Things are not really jelling so to speak at UK just yet. If, on the other hand, things come together UK could win it all. However, much easier said than done. To be candid, Florida gave KY all they could handle all the way until the last minute or so. Ohio State also beat Purdue which was a shocker. ;):);)

UK has the most talent IMO. I'd be surprised if TN beat them more than once. Whatever happened to Arkansas? They are supposed to be the number 2 program in the SEC for basketball. It's kind of sad not seeing them up their to be UK's rival.

Yeah, it is hard to beat any team twice. However, the Cowboys beat Philly (3) times this year. Kind of hard to believe given Philly's reputation during playoff time. UK does have the most talent and size, but it still needs to jell a lot better imho before they beat teams like Texas, Kansas, and etc. John Wall has a 42" vertical leap and is as fast as they come. Things are really getting interesting. Can't wait until March Madness is here!

17-0 baby! *Dicky Vitale voice*

Last night's game was great. Kentucky slipped up, which is what Calipari and the UK players have often noted; they're need to keep a team down once they get them down. They just haven't learned how to really stick that yet.
But, the bottom line is that they won. No one's going to remember how much X team wins by... they only look at the W. So, to be fair to Kentucky a win is a win.
The fact that Florida played an excellent game actually bodes well for UK now. There's been talk about their schedule and their ranking. Some saying that they aren't really a top 3 team. That conversation has now left after last night's game. It's not like Florida sucks... and they definately didn't last night. Walker was a three point machine, and they played very well both offensively and defensively, imo. But, Kentucky rallied back and the John Wall show took effect toward the end, which is something Wall is known for doing. He's just a momentum gainer. And the bench... man, the bench stepped up last night. Orton's blocks were substantial. Swats 2 away in one possesion... NICE!

I don't expect to see UK stay undefeated. I truly don't. I'm not even sure I expect them to go all the way. But, having seen UK's past teams not do jack, I'll be happy to see them go to the elite 8. And I'm very confident they have the ability to go all the way.

We'll see how the rest of the year unfolds.

PS: Bradley was smokin' last night, too!

Exactly-they are young! However, with so much talent I see them making it to at least a Final Four. Winning it all would be even better. What about Bledsoe? He was on fire last night. Once things gel together, UK will be hard to beat. However, that may take some time before that happens. Look out folks. Why not come see the Wall of KY? :);):)

UK beat Auburn, but it sure was nothing to brag about. Kudos to the Auburn team for coming back and almost beating UK. Keep in mind, Auburn was down 19 pts. at the half. UK needs to learn how to finish a team off. Just have not matured enough just yet. However, it is coming. Now the Cats are 18-0!

Folks, it looks like the UK Wildcats will be ranked #1 in the country very soon! I am so stoked about this. In fact, KY is the ONLY remaining undefeated team in the nation-woot woot go Cats! :):):) In the long run, however, I just hope my cats win it all. Not at all too concerned about going undefeated. Winning it all is much more important imho. Keep up the good work guys! ;):);)

Tonight, the UK Wildcats play South Carolina in S. Carolina! The question is, however, will the Wildcats remain unbeaten giving them a record of 20-0? My guess is yes, but I am sure it won't be a wash-out by any stretch of the imagination. That is, the Gamecocks beat KY both times that they faced each other last season. For some reason, the Gamecocks seem to really step it up so to speak when they play KY. Guess we will know soon enough. Go Cats! ;):);)

Well once again the Gamecocks beat KY. To be honest, they out played KY throughout the game. Downey was amazing. Kudos to him! However, next time the Gamecocks will be at Rupp and I have a feeling things will turn out better for the Wildcats. Oh well, 19-1 is still an impressive record inmho. Losing may be just what KY needs at this point in the season.;)
