I've always been a fan of the Final Fantasy games (though 3 is my favorite), Zelda series (and you can dl the originals on the Nintendo Network for the Wii), Metroid games, Mario Kart has always been a blast.

Did anyone ever play Tetrisphere for the Nintendo 64? That game was a blast, and really intense when you played with a friend. We wouldn't blink for almost 10 min at a time.

There are so many more, but no time to name them all now.

Chess. With a board and pieces. Screw all this electronic crap. :D
Bah! That' was one of those new-fangled inventions by that kid... what's his name... Alexander something.

"Who is going to be lunch today"... that's old-school. Usually played with large predators.

Great list there. Zelda series was awesome. 1942 was a great game but could never beat it, came close. The Double Dragon series was fantastic. WCW vs NWO and Revenge are the best wrestling games ever made. Many hours wasted on those games. The gameplay was so addictive.

I bid on an Atari 800 on eBay the other night when I was drunk. Didn't win it though. I'm still mad at my mom for selling mine at a garage sale 12 years ago.
My Mom sold my did the same exact thing..... except in my case, it was an Atari 2600. She also sold my He man collection, my laser tag collection, part of my transformers collection, and various other collectibles.... All worth a fair amount of money, yet sold at blasphemously low prices.....

I never understand why moms do that.... They would be so pissed if we took some of their personal belongings and sold them....

Dagostar *sighs*

speaking of e-bay.... Several years ago when I was in college, I received a fairly large amount of money in the form of college tuition loans.... I don't understand why they gave me the money, instead of sending it to the school directly.... because I am horrible with money... I probably spent about 25% of my college loan money buying cool stuff on e-bay... i.e coin operated arcade games such as Dragons Lair II, Joust, Arkanoid....

enough of me rambling on for now, peace out,

Excellent list Dagostar. Double Dribble on the NES. I played that countless times. :D. I remember shooting 3 pointers from the top corners of the screen sucessfully.

I just bought Super Spike V'Ball for the NES off eBay complete in the box. As soon as I got I put it and played it. I had to test it out and all. Over an hour I was still playing it. I already had the game, just not in the box or with the manual.
