I may not be drinkin' but I'm here.
I vowed to never again attempt to blend in a patch on a textured wall or ceiling. I don't take criticism well and there is always something to criticize on that maneuver. I'll patch the hole. I don't care who blends in the texture. Working in houses sucks. There's texture and wallpaper everywhere and then invariably you get holes and water damage. My favorite is people who paint right over wallpaper. I wish I could give people red chicklets in life and make them walk around displaying them like a Badge of Shame.
