Thanks for asking. Most everyone has recovered. My wife and the smallest monkey are staying home just to make sure he doesn't spread this particular strain of ebola to the rest of the monkeys. Wifey had a rough day yesterday, which was an excellent impetus to get me outside on my bike. Vomiting is not a spectator sport.

It has been good, actually. They recently reopened the department I was working in last year. It's been somewhat tiring the last week or so but that's to be expected restarting an aluminum foundry that's been idled for nine months. Some machinery just doesn't like to start right back up after being down for that long. In the process, I've logged a fair bit of overtime, Yay.

In the mean time, I also picked up a new 09 Ranger for a ridiculously low price. It's a basic regular cab with a 4 cylinder/auto with air and no power options. It's so basic, it only has an AM/FM radio, no cassette, CD, MP3 or anything else. It is currently scheduled for a fairly major electronics upgrade. I'll post up in the car modding thread once it's done.

I hear ya! I manage a company that sells hydraulic/pneumatic seals and cylinder repair/pump/valve repair to mostly the heavy metal industry. Mills, foundrys, extruders and the like. That type of equipment likes to be run consistently for sure.

I wonder if you say "al-you-minium" or "a-lum-i-num" ???

We've run the plant for about a week now working out all the bugs. It should be good to go. And yeah, it's a-lum-i-num. And it's Jag-war, not Jag-you-are.

I'll give you a hint about the truck mods...Alpine and JL Audio.

well I slept almost since I got home. My fever has broke, and I feel about 70%. I just popped some Tylenol and hope to be back asleep within an hour or so after I look at some bike porn.

On a happier note, I love Patton Oswalt's CDs. That's the funniest stuff I've heard in awhile. Makes me miss my XM (kind of) by not having the comedy channel (with its obnoxious commercials) and BPM.

I need a 1"x54" flexible auger bit and a 25' HDMI 1.3a cable to run HDMI from my living room to my HT so that I can use the HTPC both places. Too bad I don't know any electricians - those damned bits are expensive...

...either that or I need to just move the HTPC down to the HT. That would obviously be cheaper but watching the Hulu TV shows at lunch time wouldn't be possible with it down there.
