I'm working on a garage shelf system. Buying the material, removing the old shelves along with an inordinate amount of useless sh!t and patching the wall before finally painting it is way more work than putting up the shelves. They will be awesome though.

Today I'm gonna get together with my nephews and their father (my sister's former husband). The nephews are grown, married and degreed. I use to look after them when they were young. Neither of them remember the "Oscie cigarettes' that were hand rolled and smelled funny. Hell, I hardly remember them but that may be due to some memory loss associated with the 'Oscie cigarettes' that were hand rolled and smelled funny.

I was thinking about buying a ladder at the Ace down the street and walking it back home (it won't fit in my car), but it's starting to look stormy out. I'm not a fraidy cat when it comes to lightning, but I'm not especially stupid, either (up for debate). Walking half a mile with a ten-foot lightning rod might not be the best plan.
