The seller has decent customer service they called me back! They assured me that the new replacements will be here by friday the claim will be filed today by them and I may or may not get a call from ups I find this hard to believe but I have to give them the chance to make it right I just find it odd that they didnt even ask for these ones back I guess Ill know more on Friday.
Perhaps you can even make two sets of subwoofers now, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel :p

No I will not start to think like that, if they are gonna play fair then I owe it to myself and the seller to do the right thing. I will send the damaged goods back upon their request and I'm almost 99% sure that they will ask I'll prolly be using the new box that comes later this week.To truly update the situation I did not get a call from ups the same driver that delivered came to my house today with an incident report to inspect the damage ,he came,he saw,he left he told me that normally he would take the goods as a pick up but since the replacements did not come yet he will not take them.

Things normally end up well in the end....

I bought a Krell amp some years ago and the post guys managed to break them twice during shipment.... but the third one I received was OK, and if you look at how these amps are shipped, it's a good feat to be able to break it that way.

It's just trying hard enough and as many times as needed, and things will end up well....

GOOD LUCK !

I am thinking of building two of these but would like to know if someone would sell me enough of the Owens Corning 705 to do both subs? And I also have a FBQ 2496, so I would need advice on the subsonic filter, Reckhorn, ED, etc? Would like to get going on this this weekend.

Finally I do have a EP2500.

thanks to any,

Sam

box plans on page 1.

no problems with my two EP2500's
yeah, thanx. i found it. i have been going over this thread a lot, but i keep forgetting where things are. lots of info for a humble mind (that has a lot of other things on it).

i trust you guys. you love this driver. so i am determined to use 2 of them. thing is, my 12' wide room just can't handle 2 of these this size. i am trying to find a narrower/smaller box. if i can get the same quality out of 2 smaller boxs, as you get from 1 "as per this build" i would be all over it.

i am now trying to find the driver parameters.

well, back to searching

The size is small, but if you don't mind having less extension I may be able to model a suitable box with similar properties. Why don't you give me your max size requirements? Then I can try to model something and see what you end up with. :)

yeah, that would be GREAT !!!

... i have resorted to trying learning winisd. it "seems"
simple enough, once grasped. but, reading some threads = Sealed Infinity Kappa Perfect VQ being one of them, there is a lot i am missing.

"ideally" 18W 26D 20H. width is the one i need to stick with the most.
what qf would that be ?

as i said. if 2 of your models for me can remotely come close to one of this thread build. i would be like

man, thanx a TON

It depends on your goals, budget and whether you plan to use an EQ

I suggest you stick to the Perfect Series unless you have the money for a JL Audio sub and plan to eq it a lot.

The Perfect subs are very linear and very efficient for being linear.

I did a rough estimation taking more air out than you would probably loose from a modified design, but

Here is my conclusion for your parameters.

This is a 12.1 with a 20hz High Pass Filter I don't have a the mid VQ parameter put in yet, but they have similar response. Though I think the mid extends a tad more and a takes more power

If you want to add volume to the top. You could improve the response a bit.

if you go with a 18wx 26D x 25 H
