Don't get the Harmony 520 if you want to control the PS3. I beleive teh pS3 uses r/f which that Harmony remote does not do.

You wish the PS3 used RF. There are plenty of universal RF remotes (thought pricier than their IR only counterparts.) The PS3 uses Bluetooth which is something no universal remote does at this time. There are several IR to Bluetooth adapters for the PS3. It's really a non-issue nowadays.

Bluetooth isn't a frequency band like IR or RF. I suspect Bluetooth uses an RF that falls outside the normal RF bands for remote controls. This converter that you mention is very interesting. Do you have any brnad names, names of retailers that sell that?
