When I read the "oops" premature post/article on this last night from Audioholic's homepage, I could have sworn that it said this player could access "entertainment" from the internet. I assumed that meant music n a fasion Samsung's currently doing w/ its 2550 layer (model number may be incorrect).
How accurate is this?
[NOTE]
Regardless of this capability, Denon's clearly going to remain king of DVD player awesomeness.
That's another thing.
Okay, people who are into this A1UDCI player most likely already have either the AVP-A1HDCI or the AVR-5308CI. Both of these already have Silicon Optix Realta, Burr-Brown PCM-1796, Internet Music, Satellite Music, Network Music, etc., and all HD Audio surround sound decoders.
So they really would not need all those things in the player.
But, it's the flagship player. Heck, the current flagship 5910CI is already $3800. So this one will seem like a BARGAIN with the inclusion of blu-ray, Balanced outputs, & DLink 4th Ed.
Shoot, I'm trying to talk myself OUT of this, but I'm in.
