Midcow2 - that amp looks awesome, i would like to buy something like that but they dont sell those in the stores where i live. looks like i might have to start ordering stuff online.


Davemcc - thanks for the advice, this stuff is an addiction and i find myself always wanting to buy more and upgrade. i have started saving money for my next purchase, but im going to take some time before i buy anything being that i did just spend a decent amount on what i have. so i should enjoy that for a while.

ahhh yea Cowtown is where i live but there really isnt that many Cowboys or Cowgirls here. They only come out in force during the Calgary Stampede but that becasue everyone buys a cowboy hat and gets hammered drunk lol

i do industrial work, i have pipe fitting and sand blasting jobs. i save lots of money up for things i want. i quit smoking just so i could save that extra $200 a month to put towards my system

Glad you're doing so well at a young age. And congrats on quitting smoking. No matter what the reason, you did it.

the PS3 is my buddies, i just got it a week ago when he went to jail. he told me i could have it because hes not gonna be out for a while and he didnt want to just leave it sitting around

yeah you know that constant rain is much better. it was plus 14 here the other day. we almost never get snow out here anymore, at least where i live. plus we got Banff, all you have is Whistler which sucks

my equipment so far (also stated in other threads)
panasonic TX-37LZD850A
Klipsch
F-1*2
C-1
S-1*2
Klipsch Sub 10"
PS3
dont have amp yet but lookin at denon 2309, pioneer VSX-LX70, Yamaha RX-V863 or Onkyo TR-SX706 hope to have one of these in the next few days any input on what amp i should get would be much appreciated
can try to post pics of my setup if anyone is interested?

Very interested. I'd like to see what a 14 year old has in the way of audio. when I was 14 I had a Denon Integrated amplifier and some Jensen CJ-R something or other bookshelf speakers. I think I got my pair of Infinity IL10s when I was 16 along with a Sherwood receiver. Not long after I got a RCA/tandy subwoofer and Center speaker. I was so happy with my stuff then.

That's usually what guys do in order to not hijack another guys thread.
