Man, those better be some good CDs. :D Just kidding, Sheep.
Any updates for this? I'd need to know at least a month in advance if I'm going to book the time off.

Sweet. It's three weeks from now. ;)

No, there aren't any updates. I was just testing the waters before, and I don't know where we'll have it. I figure that once Matt gets back home, we'll discuss it more seriously. Maybe at my house, but I gotta finish up (read "start") some renovations - new flooring, new paint, yard work. Yes, I'm a guy - but even I won't invite guests over (from out of state and from another country) to a house that's a dump.

I'm sure your home is just fine. My basement doesn't even have walls!

Besides, after the beer is cracked open, who cares right?! :)

Hmmm, you make a good point. Also, if the green fairie starts to dance, it might be better if I do the renovations after the GTG...

BTW, why is it still FULL?! Is little SheepStar too scared to dance?

"Oh, I have to go to work in the morning."

Yeah, well we all know that you don't talk to any customers, and you're only working on Toyotas, right? ;)

I actually don't drink anymore. I bought it as a thing to put on my shelf and say "Yeah, I have one of those" :D

Annnnnd, I'm actually leaving Toyota. I'm either transferring to Lexus, because there I can hand wash cars (nice cars) and not deal with all the nonsense that goes on at Toyota, or going to work with my brother paving. All depends if Lexus has room. I was supposed to replace someone but he ended up not leaving. :(

Hey, best of luck getting on board at Lexus if that's what you want to do. Do you know what kind of turn over they have there?

As much as I'm tempted to make some wise crack about you not drinking any more, that's kind of impressive. It also doesn't really hamper the plan of not getting new flooring. After all, the only sober person will be you - and your basement doesn't have walls. :D Plus, you'd be coherent enough to drop the hammer on anyone who dared to touch any of my stuff.

"Ummm, hey...Sheep? Dave is about to use one of my towels..."

"No worries, dude." BAM.

Okay, I'm not that anal. Towels are cool. Plates, on the hand...

Haha, nice.

I didn't stop because my liver is failing and my eyes are showing signs of Jaundice, I stopped because I really don't need to drink. I usually drive to parties, and I don't like hangovers at all (but who does :).) Plus I have a habit to go past the point I need to, and I lose my memory for the rest of the evening. I'd rather be sober and enjoy the evening, then drunk off my a$$ and not remember it.

What do you mean by Turnover?

Cool. Having fun is always a good thing. And, yeah, hangovers SUCK. I haven't had one of those in about...hmmm...12 years now. Thank goodness. Drinking "responsibly" is a much better plan than drinking until you physically can't get the bottle to your mouth anymore. Not that anyone here would have done something like that...

I might have used the wrong term. By "turnover", I just meant how often people leave and they need to hire new people. For example, fast food places probably have pretty high turnover rates because high schoolers aren't trying to make a career out of working there.

Oh, it's not bad. All the lots guys are trying to get into the shop. But Toyota is full and my Boss consistently leads you on. I decided to give up the Apprenticeship long ago so It's not a concern for me. Rumor has it that none of the technicians like the current Lexus lot guys, and I have a reputation for being the best. I know all of the Techs at Lexus and we all get along. The Manager is trying to get me in, but there isn't many spots due to the low amount of traffic they see a day compared to Toyota. I was literally lined up to go in, but the guy I was replacing ended up not leaving (was supposed to move). I am going to wait a few weeks to see if the manager can find room for me, otherwise I am going elsewhere.
