fmod finally arrived for "mid bass module" use

Do you actually run all three at the same time? Where are the gains set?

the sms-1 controlling the two dls-5000r's is at volume 10 of 100

the DD18 is also at 10 of 100 but I'm still trying to find the best location because at its current location, there's a dip at 25hz.

i'm making some progress with my quest for the chest thump. unfortunately, I think it's related to the subs being 6-10db hot. hmmm.

LOL, you need to do what Mulester (Ronnie) did, and get 2 x SVS B12-Plus/4.
Granted I don't even think they are custom made anymore.
As well, they are something like $3,000.00 each.

i tried to sign in, but I think they banned yahoo email adds.

Yes, they have.
They have banned any free email server.

Yeah, I went through this 6 months ago.
I tried an old account I had at Audiokarma, that did not work.
So I tried signing back up with hotmail, and gmail (both a no go)
But I can't remember what my Comcast email password was, and Comcast can't seem to get in on their side.
So, I gave up. (once again, that was 6 months ago, I have not tried recently)

I'll have to call Ronnie, again.

Anyhow, this is getting too off topic.
So back on topic.!!!!!!!!!!!

What's next in the setup, Mike????

i kinda used up all my purchase points with the wife for the next few months.

hopefully, she'll cave and "Christmas gift" me my HD-DVD player. so I think the next one will be closer to Christmas than soon.

all for the elusive chest thump. you know what ... I'm thinking the sms-1 and DD measurement is messing up my life.

after I set these subs up, I could now feel disco/bar/club type of thump, but after I calibrated with the sms-1/DD ... I'm back to a flat response with no thump. I tried upping the volume by 10 ... but still no chest thump.

and I lost the couch shaking effect when the subs are now far from the seats.
