thanks. about 1 meter til the computer table.
if you're thinking about widening the soundstage, look at the left speaker and the wall next to it  crappy room shape

.....no, I was thinking about subs outside of the mains, but I think what you've got appears to be very good for possibilities if you keep the subs tasteful....do you like the front-firing effect from your subs?....mercy, I do.....

mule, if I get the DD18, it is gonna be outside the mains.

front firing, I like the look a lot, especially when listening to BASS music and watching the driver (of the EP500) get incredible movement.
I can't compare to my previous downfiring sub because it was too crappy.

.....great report and pictures, Mike C....I just honor the front soundstage and enhancement of the mains, I guess....I love the front-firing oscillations coming from the low of the screen, love it....about ten years ago, I went to a guy's house persuing an ad in the classifieds about buying two active equalizers that were real clean....he had a good system too, but I got my first taste of down-firing sub....it seemed to be in the air everywhere, with no idea where it was coming from....is that what a bass guitar cabinet in a supper club does?....I don't know....I just like front-firing for the live experience and who cares if it's a bit localized to the screen?....

If you both have a microphone and speakers hooked up to your computer, use Google Talk next time, It wont cost you a cent to talk.

Pretty sleek looking system, it all flows very nicely. I'm feeling rather envious right about now....:p

I bet it sounds great too, good quality stuff.

Wow... now that is an impressive set up! Nice one!
thanks! almost a year now since I started ...

Nice set up! Are the subs playing the same frequencies?
yes, they are connected via Y connector ... but the axiom can reach lower.
I have the axiom calibrated the same to the other channels ... I excluded the velodyne, so when it is on, it is 6db hot. that way, I can choose movie or music use via remote.

Mike is correct macca.. I use to do the messenger thing all the time.. But it kept me up all night talking to a woman in Australia and one in U.K.
I don't have a problem calling long distance. But the Phillipines is quite expensive (no big deal)

How much?? It does not really matter, but my bill was an extra 47.00 that month... (I think that call was 40.00)

It's just nice to talk to fellow members (once in awhile):D
