If any of you have not yet noticed...you are not going to change Sheep's mind. You will not persuade him.
The first rule of argumentation is to have a strong logical argument. The second rule is to realize a better argument when it smacks you in the face. Some are incapable or unwilling of such realization or change.
There are plenty of places you can ride Sheep without a helmet...just not where you have chosen to live. Quit whining and obey the laws...or pay the price. And then suck up and take it like a man because it was your choice to disobey in the first place...
As I have already responded...you know my point of view. I've been riding motorcycles (and bicycles)
longer than you've been alive. So on the one hand I appreciate your sense of an unbridled ride. I like the feel of the wind in my hair, and the additional awareness and freedom that the lack of a helmet grants one. But I also observe the laws, and am willing to pay the penalty without snivelling when so disobeyed.
On a side note:
Much like the chicken, the rooster and the hen, there is the sheep, the ram and the ewe. I know that the ram has sex with the ewe, but who in the hell has sex with the sheep?
The last paragraph was meant purely as a sideline to this go nowhere thread (as it now seems evident that there are two sides of the fence, and neither side is willing to cross over) with a jest, a joke. If Sheep wants to stick to his ideals, allow him to. I just hope he has a fat wallet (unless he relocates).
