All the video evidence shows that the man was shot after he was disarmed by ICE. The fact that Trump and his upper administration claim everything contrary to the video evidence shows a blind and uniform hatred to everyone, even against Americans that stand up to Trump. The US under Trump is truly fawked in every sense of the word. His tarriffs has caused the US to drop their standard of living as inflation rises higher and higher. Trump and his supporters are no better than Poutin and his KGB. I state again that the constitutional right to bare arms is a f?ckin sad joke because they are not being used against a tyrannical government, the very reason it was put into the constiution. Like most things Republican, its all about the money.
Sorry but I have to disagree about the right to bear arms. It is not a license to break the law

Seriously, I have no life.
About 8 million. Nobody cried because it was Obama. The only reason these mental patients are fighting federal law enforcement agents is because trump sent them. Yay!!! Let’s protect fraud and corruption!!!! Persecute trump some more. I don’t really care, but let these guys do their damn jobs.
No idea about the Asian guy you mentioned.
Here you go. Elderly Hmong St. Paul citizen arrested by ICE in bitter cold wearing only underwear, blanket
Obama handling deportation is not even in the same universe as the current evens are happening.
Is this what you call doing their job? Just shame.

From what I've seen so far, it looks like Pretti was disarmed before he was shot.

https://www.fox9.com/video/fmc-dg3fsrhu1zp2q7ab

>>>Greg Bovino, Border Patrol commander . . . tells the press that this morning, an individual approached ICE agents with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun.<<<

Interesting choice of words. Did the ICE agents know he had a gun? By itself, carrying a gun is legal. By itself approaching ICE agents is also legal.

From the same bbc news report:

>>>The agents "attempted to disarm the individual but he violently resisted".

"Fearing for his life... a Border Patrol agent fired defensive shots," Bovino continues. . . . The man had two loaded magazines and no accessible ID, he adds.

"This looks like a situation where an individual wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement," he says.<<<

If Pretti was already disarmed when he was shot (this is not clear), Bovino's description of the incident is misleading.
Call it what it is, a bunch of lies. "Fearing for his life" is becoming a defense for all of them now, get out of jail for your criminal behavior, it seems.

Thus far I'm not seeing a "domestic terrorist" in the video. Looked like he was trying to help a woman who was pushed down. Then a skuffle. Probably shouldn't had a conceal on him but not seeing intent either. What a mess.
It's the terrorist ICE that are the criminals.

News reports from the time indicate that some people were literally crying.

>>>The parties activists organized to watch President Barack Obama’s immigration speech were supposed to be festive affairs. . . . “People are crying,” he told CNN in a phone interview from Chicago. “I can’t celebrate this, because there are a lot of people left out.”<<<

https://www.cnn.com/2014/11/20/politics/obama-speech-immigrants-react

I'm not sure if mental patients have been fighting federal law enforcement, but there were plenty of protests against Obama's policies.

>>>More than a hundred demonstrators intentionally had themselves arrested outside the White House today in protest against the Obama administration's response to the sudden surge of undocumented immigrants across the border with Mexico.<<<

I don't remember there being anywhere near the level of conflict under Obama as there is now. I tend to think that at least some of difference is related to differences in rhetoric and tactics.

It appears to me that Obama was more effective than Trump

>>>Did Obama deport more people than Trump?
By annual comparisons, yes.

Obama had earned the critical reputation as "deporter in chief," and Trump's first term lagged behind Obama in numbers.<<<

Perhaps Obama was a magician of sorts.
I don't think it's that hard to figure out. It's the a$$hole theory, and Trump is the biggest I've ever seen. I am a bit confused by it. Is Trump not an a$$hole? Abrasive, vile, inflammatory, "a miserable c-nt," ultra narcissist, antagonizer, thrives on chaos, restless, etc. Also to include his social media skreeches in all caps. He seems to be less so verbally these days but then there's still his social media posts for examples or the general tone of his years.

Add to this the notion Trump was playing 3D chess when to me his style was as one person put it Jerry Springer/WWE.

What law was the protester breaking before he was shot? From the video I've seen, there was no justification. Am I missing some context from your statement?

This video clip is difficult to watch. There has been a suggestion that the agent who removed Alex Pretti's pistol caused a negligent discharge, which may have caused other agents to panic and just open up on Pretti. Regardless, it was - at best - a display of gross incompetence.

That said, I question the wisdom of bringing a sidearm to these protests, regardless of 2A and state law. The second you pull it out - for any reason - you're gonna get lit up.

That's the most crisp looking video quality I've seen but still can't really tell even slowed down. About all I can say again is what a mess. Terrible rules of engagement considering in the beginning Pretti was just trying to protect the woman. But yeah bringing a gun was a bad idea.

If you're still pro ICE now might be a good time to reconsider if this is worth continuing in the twin cities.
