It said many of them are ghost guns, meaning not much traceability. This is one grey area they need to close the loop on.

And the chances of that passing is close to 0.  After all, we have a 2nd amendment that seems to be absolute except machineguns. But we have bump stocks.

Even fully automatic weapons are legal, one just needs a class 3 FFL attachment to sell or buy and carries hefty requirements.

Yup, if you have the licence you can pretty much own type of firearm. You will get frequent checks from ATF, along with a laundry list of requirements but you can own that Gatling gun.

Read along the lines a group was trying to get MG's on the basis of constitutional rights maybe. The oppositions strategy to prevent this was to delay by not responding or something or other. Wish I could remember where I found that. Something like if they responded that would trigger a case I'm not exactly sure.

I also believe regarding FRT's Clarence Thomas made them legal based on the original language of the Constitution or something like that.

OK, what is a 13 year old doing with people who are so old and if any bought guns for him, they need to be prosecuted. The ghost guns will be more of a problem, though- I doubt they have serialized receivers.

A quick check of Duck duck go;
reveals several references to a 13 year old in a home, where he had access to 23 apparent (I, naturally, cannot personally, verify that they are actual, functional firearms (no reference was seen about un-seralized "ghost guns" although apparently some of the "firearms" had 3d printed parts.

Apparently the child made online references that were taken as threats (I did not see any of them quoted"), a judge has ordered him held.

I don't see much here that is actually, widely considered, criminal (it depends on local laws, and the "threats" allegedly made). The home had the gun collection inside (apparently "unsecured"). Apparently the 13 year old lived there.

I see a bunch of liberal nervous Nancys here that need to work on reading comprehension and some, that are all set to fly off the handle on other people's gun rights.

I do see probable parental supervision issues with the child's parents.

You folks need to use your heads and intelligence, not your emotions and make fewer assumptions, IMO.
