I'm on a mission from God!! I'm going to rewire my basement system and try and organize the cable mess back there.

Two of these for my decks that I record and play on. One cable running between each deck ( 2 x KX-1200 ) and AVR with each cable handling both record/play functions

These will be used on the decks that I only play music on, one cable going to analog out of each deck (Pioneer and Akai decks) and the AVR

One cable between the analog out of the BluRay player and AVR. The second cable between analog out of K1000 deck and AVR

I ordered two packs of these, one in 3.3ft and the other in 6.6 ft lengths to connect the BluRay, media player, and cable box to the AVR.

Buds Pro3

Got them on a black Friday deal last week. They were offering a big discount and a decent trade in of my OLD original Samsung buds. My original buds sounded pretty decent, but did not have ANC, so I was OK letting them go and the best part: they were free with one of my previous phones, so they actually paid me for them lmao.

These definitely have better sound and the ANC is noticeably improved vs. my Buds Pro 2, which I still have. They don't quite fit as well because they are the "stem" style, but functionally they're great. On the 2s, I could only have either volume or track controls, not both. On the 3s, I have both. You have to "learn" the controls though, as they are not as intuitive as the previous versions where you just tap or long touch for various settings. The 3s require you to "pinch" and actually apply a little pressure for some functions, which obviously sometimes does not work until you get used to what needs to happen.

The first thing that happened though, one of them stopped charging in the case and would notify on the phone that charging stopped. I looked it up and it seems in one of the updates that they put in a charging stop if the case detects anything in the charging case, but it looked debris free and they are only a few days old. I hit it with some deoxit with a q-tip and that fixed it though.

LG 77” OLED C4. I guess yesterday was a good day for my old TV to give up the ghost considering Black Friday.
Dangit, I don’t want to be honest but I’m off to BestBuy. Ordered online and picked up from store, just got an email saying because I didn’t pick the TV up they have refunded me the money.

Bought a pair of RSL 10E's to try out. Will get them calibrated in the system tomorrow.

Also picked up a Panasonic DP-UB450 4k player and some movies during the black Friday/cyber Monday sales for my Christmas presents since I've been declared impossible to shop for.

Pioneer PD 10AE CD player. Unboxed it, tested it, and re boxed it. Nice CD player but bought it it for a backup for my NAD.

Record sale at a VFW hall some 59 miles away, well worth the trip. Came home with 8 for $72. Though I already own a German pressing of the Elvis Costello "Armed Forces", this American pressing (with different cover art) came with a 7" EP that has Watching The Detectives, Accidents Will Happen, and Allison on it.

Almost forgot, bought my first Audioquest cable, HDMI 2.1. Bought it the other day when I picked up my new TV. Didn’t want to wait three or four days for a mono price cable and save myself 30 bucks. Funny thing is the Audioquest cable was $5 cheaper than the Rocketfish cable those were the only 2 choices at BestBuy for a 48gps cable. Even funnier is the Audioquest cable says it’s “directionally optimized”. I thought HDMI cables were bi-directional… lol

Only bought it because it was cheaper and I’m assuming it’s probably decent quality, it has a pretty jacket

I hear you. I’ve done the same at BB especially if I’m buying something for my wife or the kids. I’ll wait but they want it setup and start using right away. That reminds me I did buy a Blue Jeans CAT6A cable to connect my router to my streamer. I had an Amazon cable from way back but I wanted a certain length so I could snake it around correctly and Blue Jeans is great. Ordered the exact length I needed (16 feet) and the color (black) I wanted. Delivered for $39 and they even test each cable and include the test printout. Just like Ascend Acoustics does with their speakers. I love Blue Jeans cable. American made, good quality, made to order at a good price.

Where did you get the cable labels? They look pretty slick. I have a similar rats nest behind my equipment.

Ordered two of these 5 records on-line via the website of the record store 10 miles from me, the Chris Cornell "Higher Truth" and the Alice IN Chains "Dirt". The latter one is used, near mint, and on red vinyl.

An hour later, I received an e-mail that they're ready for pickup, so I headed over. Of course a couple others caught my eye so I came home with 5 records instead of two. I added the Diana Krall "Quiet Nights" (used), the Jeff Buckley "Grace" (new), and the Sublime (eponymous, new.)
