The deal on the rims was too good. $800 off, so basically I got the tires that have 5 miles on them and TPMS installed free.

Brembos come standard on this car, but I have AP Racing 6 pot front 4 pot rear (Brembos were 4 front 2 rear) w/2 piece AP rotors front and rear. Looks like he as a used set for sale still:

Two of the most Important things on any vehicle tires and brakes very nice.

One of these now that they came back into stock:

I wanted to see if it would eliminate the last little bit of hum I was hearing in the mains in my living room (DC offset maybe?).

Unfortunately, it did not. The hum just seems to be in the power amp and that's that.. It's very quiet and not really an issue - I was just being a perfectionist. It's approaching 20 years old and if that's it's biggest issue, it's doing well.

I haven't decided where the new CMX2+ will end up now, but I'm sure it'll find a home in one of the systems.

Continue to buy used CDs that have music I can’t get on Qobuz. The latest is the Legacy edition of Santana which includes their Woodstock performance. Sounds awesome. Love the combination of guitar, keyboards and rhythm. The cover artwork is trippy too.

I got the ART EQ355 equalizer and a bamboo stand for it to go into so that the NAD preamp can go on top. I'm very happy with the ART unit and the stand.

The stand swivels so I can have it face me a bit better. It looks a little retro but my setup is completely unplanned and 27 year of ad-hoc, opportunistic changes as the equipment has changed.

I especially like how the EQ lets the signal pass though unaltered when the unit is off.

Nice looking NAD. I've always been a fan and had a NAD integrated amp and tuner back in the 80s. These days I still have my NAD 316 bee and it plays flawlessly.

WBC 12 gauge 8 foot speaker cable to replace my 14 gauge 10 foot cable. Better sound? Not sure but it is a shorter thicker run.

They are good cables, and pretty. But better sound over what you had - I doubt it.

I got a hitch attached bike rack so that I don't have to stand the bikes on top of the car any more!

It's been getting harder to put them on top.

I ordered these cassettes used off a guy from Kijiji. They are one of the cleanest set of used tapes I've managed to get my hands on.

I got back from visiting my gf yesterday and we went treasure hunting. It was another fine haul.
