Thanks so much for all the previous advice on the forum. Last year you all were so helpful on upgrading subs and the receiver.
Currently I have the following set up:
B&W 601 mains
B&W 602 center
B&W LM1 rears
Denon 3700h receiver
2× HSU VT-3 MK5s
Room is rather large 17' x18' with 18' vaulted ceilings.
Ideally the mains and center would fit into my current furniture but not absolutely critical. Center placement is likely to be more of an issue with the wife.
I am just starting the research so don't have a real sense of what I need to budget yet but while money isn't of no object its not really going to be the driving factor in the decision making process.
System is probably used 80% for home theater and 20% for music. Definitely want to improve the overall listening experience for dialogue.
Attached is a picture of the current set up just to show the ideal space I'd like to fit in.
Although most would describe my room as challenging, I find that in general I'm pretty satisfied with the sound quality as is. I'm hoping that upgrading the center and fronts is going to significantly include the listening experience. If not why drop a few grand
.
Thanks in advance for all the suggestions.
