It's close to a square stage for the band with ramps running off in all four directions, so he interacts with all of the audience. The screen is cross shaped so you can see the left and right panels from anywhere in the arena. This was at the Scotiabank Arena where the Maple Leafs play hockey and the rig was so heavy that the roof supports sagged! Apparently it's not a projection screen but a giant display, so quite heavy. Looked amazing. They had surround speakers installed which was cool when the helicopter effects came into play. Should have all of the kinks worked out in a couple of weeks so you're in for a treat.
Yeah, it is a large LED screen I believe. NIN has used something like it before, but not as big. U2 has been using it for a while, but not in a cross config, just straight. I got seats that were close to the stage, but at a bad angle, but with the screens, we could see most everything.
Joshua Tree 30th anniversary tour had the biggest screen I've ever seen. That show was incredible...
