I'll probably check out the Boston since they gotten good reviews for the tweeter. Those JBL 580 are a steal, but my 530s are serving me well. Plus too big for my small apt.

Yes got them as Christmas gift to myself. I really like them. I adjusted placement just yesterday and it a better separation.

The compression horn looks kinda cool on those. 5" woofers? How are they with bass? Those won't be easy to beat with a budget buy.

Yep 5 and they sound great. The center does a great job with crystal clear sound. Darth sounds great.

I am also trying to go after these Digital Phase speakers ... but another seller who seems to be a challenge to get a demo ... the speakers measure near flat and those 3 inch woofers go down to 60 hz -3db
