Are These Finds Good Deals?

I keep seeing them too! I'm so tempted to offer $150 for them. I think I could get them all shined up, snap off 8 or 10 much more flattering pics and resell them for profit if I decide not to keep them.
I have done real well finding those diamonds in the rough with electronics. I got an audiocontrol panteges AMP for $100 (5x200) It's good.

Got an Emotiva xpa5 2nd gen for $400

It's a lot of fun when you can nab that great deal I admit that and I do think it's worth it. I have passed on several things I regret as well. And it's funny you still question why you didn't buy it even though what I have is probably better now :)

But for goodness sakes just offer the guy $150 and lets get on with it :)
I like the idea of somebody else grabbing these... I know I'd like them , but i don't want them.. Then again, when that next covid check hits , I'm probably going to buy something just to help the economy

How About a pair of these for 165?

Good deal for the price if that's what you're looking for but I'd pass on them personally. They don't quite have that "oh, I want to hear those!" mystique about them for me.

i agree, while a good deal it’s not incremental to what I have. Would be good for a starter set or for an extra room.

A couple of main things I look at.

Either dirt cheap fixer uppers with potential or known, great speakers I'd like to hear that I think have resale value. I have resold speakers and subwoofers and made small profits, worst case break even. I don't mind breaking even because I get to check out different speakers at home for free. It's a labor of love, and I have actually expanded my speaker vocabulary quite a bit. Check out these KEF C75s I found for $30!

They're not top of the line, but were in good shape, cleaned up really nice and play great.

HP 20' Monitor(Bought minty at $9.99 'round three weeks ago at Thrift store) and Dell Inspiron PC(Bought yesterday $12.99 Thrift store).
Now I thought this didn't have a hard drive inside cause it was so darn light. It was kept in mint Condition. I'm thinking this was in a box when it was donated. To my surprise Inside the case looked spotless and no dust at all. As I inspected more I see a Hard drive 1tb 7200!   2 fans and 4gigs ram(will buy 4gigs more to max it at 8gb ram). Hooked the screen and seems it was last used in 2015. Nvidia shield and windows 7 needed alot updates. After the updates it ran a bit faster and graphics looked (((great))) and colors pops really nicely on the HP moniter via VGA. It also has an HDMI in. :eek:I'm gonna get a AVI to HDMI adapter to see if there is a difference in PQ. Looks great as it though. I was looking at a similar HP PC refurbished for $180.00 on amazon for a while, but something told me to wait. Lucky and blessed. Less than $25 so darn happy. :) For greedy eyes some pics.

Those images look sharp! Nice!
Yeah bro. Been looking for a cheap pc cause laptop is slow as heck. Going to buy that ram, but no rush been speedy for my needs so far. No gaming, so dont need the extra ram yet. Just surfing, job searching, cd ripping to flac and some photo editing. Hooked up a Bluetooth adapter USB and also might get some Wi-Fi USB. Hooked up via ethernet right now.

Seriously, I have no life.
WELL...?

:p

Now these are a pretty nice find! They look fully restored, and properly so. $695 for the pair. If they sound as good as they look I'd say this isn't a bad buy for the right guy. I've never heard these before but know of their reputation and a lot of folks love them.

KEF 104/2 Reference speakers!

With the gap at the corner, I doubt they were restored. Well-maintained, maybe, but the gaps show dust, so they aren't even super clean.

Well crud. These are hard to pass up for 30 bucks! Infinity Interlude IL30 towers.

Only thirty bucks! I see the Bookshelf version of these selling for 80-90 bucks all the time!

I sent this guy an email. This is a new posting so I suspect that's why they're not gone already. I think I can flip these pretty fast and make a few bucks in the process!

Those are retro cool looking. Make sure he takes pics without the grills before going there.

I dunno about "close" but it's not TOO far. Queencreek is about 15 miles or so for me. He replied to me too, but I think I'm gonna pass. It is a great deal but I don't know if I feel like driving to Queencreek...

Hard to beat the price and 15 miles is better than 40 miles

Ugh. I'm just not feeling it today for some reason. In a funk and don't wanna go anywhere. It drizzled a little and keeps threatening rain too. I don't have a cap for the bed of my truck and it'd suck if I get caught in the rain. If he still has them tomorrow and it clears up I'll bite. Queencreek is pretty out of the way for most folks. He'll prolly still have them.
