How risky are used TVs ?

Could my 4k tv just look like trash because u verse sucks ? $ I cannot understand why people like 4k TVs so much .
I’m only able to use a 11 year old 1080 tv because cable sucks .
I put multiple threads up on its picture sucking .
No calibration helps either Non hdr Sony

Wish ida just got a $600 lg at best buy stupid me .

$100 seems a little high for a used 47” I could offer $50 and wait a while see if anyone buys it .

I told ya cable always looks like crap, unless it's in 4K. Get rid of it and go 4K bluray or fire stick streaming apps.

Our wifi isn’t exactly fast enough even if I paid my mom some Money for the 4k Netflix we couldn’t stream it ... so streaming is still 1080p better then cable tho for sure .

I don’t think cable will ever be 4k and direct tv only has 3 channels in 4k I heard.

If only I would had just found a 55” 1080p tv shame I could Had gotten one instead of the 4k one .

Shoulda just left the 4k inn my bedroom and not bought that plasma .. I hardly watch movies anymore .

Well I’d need a better Blu-ray player and a lot more money for more 4k movies I only have like 10 of them.

My dads Samsung 1080 led is getting lines wonder how long til the panel dies .. he may be stuck getting a 4k tv when it dies .

My bedroom system , but I never use it much anymore so until I find a decent 7ch amp cheap I may move my obsolete onkyo downstairs. Don’t know how much longer my 20 year old Sony will run it appears the fan on the back isn’t spinning. Maybe it only activates when it’s overheating I’m not sure but it’s sound quality is lacking . I’m sick of using it after a week having it hooked back up .
I should sell the Yamaha or something it’s a price of junk... repair is always too expensive for low end amps .
