BTW the Cleveland Clinic asked/requested the president’s party to wear masks when they arrived and they refused, prior to the debate itself.

I imagine there’s a long list of suspects, considering his disdain for wearing a mask; too unmanly.

Another event that comes to mind is the New Year’s Party at Mar-A-Lago, at his country club this year, where one of the Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro’s party/aide’s in attendance was infected. I remember seeing a video of Don, Jr.’s girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle going around smooching people, she seemed tipsy, and she tested positive for the virus later on.

The first case in the US was determined to have been January 20, right? Did they have the New Year party late? I don't see how the virus would have incubated for so long without becoming a full-blown case.

I believe the German's call it Schadenfreude for what I’m feeling.

Schadenfreude implies that while you take some pleasure at your enemies misfortune, at the same time, you also have a deep, even fearful, respect for the Power that has taken vengeance. (I know this sounds very Old Testament. Just saying it risks my born-again agnostic card-carrying status.)

There's a lot that 's still unknown and with the high number of asymptomatic people, it's darned hard to determine who has infected whom.
