I have done some research on l ronman. All of those cult Religion and it is, anything thats Created for a Collective mind of its members is a Religious cult. The main reason is for the power of control over other’. And of course to gain Wealth, or Women or what ever the powers be. Mostly, money or to Evade taxes.

Or hoarding art work, real estate, gold, power, collecting donations from people who can't necessarily afford to give, chanting during parts of the service......sounds like the Roman Catholic Church.

I’d have to agree to a point, that Religion is the oldest. it was Founded into law by a Roman Emperor or Cesar two one in the same in my book. He did put together the 4 books of the New Testaments alone with some of the Christian leaders of the time. Thing about that none can be proven dated as coming from Jesus Christ Actual 12 apostles. Closest they can come somewhere around the 150 or so after BC. So yeah it’s been Tainted I’m sure. When it’s as simple as ones Faith is all it takes. Call No Man Father but Your Father in Heaven. Jesus is the Bridge between, ask him, According to his Will Jesus will stand between his Father in Heaven of the most Hardin of sinner. Even Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, done out of ignorance.

Islam didn't come around until the early 600s AD and that uses the same Abrahamic writings as its basis with additions from early leaders- the idea that they use the correct interpretations of the writings and others are wrong makes me think that some people just want to argue for the sake of argument.

I'm not asking you to prove or try to disprove your faith- that's a personal thing that nobody has the right to do. What I'm doing is disagreeing with your comment that it's the oldest religion. Christ was born 2020 years ago- Christianity didn't exist until after he died.

For me, there's too much that's ignored and denied in most religions- I find it incredible that many Christians dislike or hate Jews, when Christ WAS a Jew and most of the first Christians were Jews.

However, the comments about religion were originally about Scientology, which isn't a religion.

It's less a matter of not being prepared and more a matter of not wanting to get involved. The Navy wasn't prepared for Pearl Harbor and they ignored the info they had received prior to the attack. If the US wasn't prepared, the buildup for war would never have been as fast, or as comprehensive.

I reread, Sure Jesus was of the Jewish faith Born of the Virgin Mary, Conceived by the Holy Spirit. But Being Jewish isn't a religion. Hitler and his Nazi regime hated Jewish people.
